Event series

A series groups the editions of a recurring event — a game jam that returns every year, a hackathon that travels between cities — into one place. Each one below collects its member events, aggregate stats, and the story behind it, all run end-to-end on HackathonHost.

Why recurring events get their own page

Most hackathons and game jams are not one-off events. They come back — the same jam every spring, a company challenge each quarter, a student competition that moves between campuses. Run as separate events, each edition starts from nothing: last year's participants are unreachable, the winners are scattered across old posts, and a sponsor asking how it went last time gets a screenshot.

A series keeps that history attached to the event instead of to whoever happened to organize it. Editions stay grouped in one place, totals across them are aggregated from the events themselves, and every past edition keeps a public page showing the teams, the projects and the results. For a returning participant it answers the only question that matters before signing up again: what actually happened last time.

Series build up as you run repeat editions on HackathonHost — see what an event costs (one flat fee per event, three free events a year for universities), or browse every public event run on the platform.
